Hometown: Seattle, WA
Elise is a Seattleite at heart, though she was born in Alaska and spent much of her childhood in Wyoming, Florida, and a few places in-between. She attended her first yoga class in 2012 as part of a college requirement-- little did she know, yoga and fitness would slowly begin to take over her life. (But, like, in the best way possible.) She is currently in-training to teach X21 classes at Hot Feet Fitness. Whether she’s hiking with her puppy, rolling out her mat, or stretching in front of the TV, she is a firm believer in sweating once a day.
In 2016, she graduated from Western Washington University with a BA in English literature and a minor in writing studies. After graduating, she spent a year in Aspen, Colorado working at a local yoga studio and exploring the beautiful Rocky Mountains. When she’s not at Hot Feet leading (or taking) classes, you can find her serving coffee at Hotwire in the Alaska Junction or updating her blog, deadbeetvegan.com
