Körper-Stretch is an instructor lead full body stretch that leverages the most effective poses to create deep healing. It is closely characterized with a self-massage we all need and deserve regularly!
Self-Stretch is an individual lead stretch routine. HFF members can enjoy the use of the warm studio during any other active class (space permitting) to work through pre-designed stretch routines.
MedX classes allow you space to relax and focus. Meditation can be self-therapeutic or can just give you time to disconnect and focus on yourself. Class styles vary with each instructor and can incorporate movement, stretch, breathing, and guided meditation among other techniques. Participants are encouraged to dress comfortably and to bring a mat and/or soft seat.
11th Step Power Meditation
The 11th Step Power Meditation class is designed to draw the inner you out while releasing the strain of outside forces. This class is designed to fulfill your need to relax and focus. Meditation can be used in support of 12 step or other supportive programs. Classes are designed to be taken in plain-clothes and are non-heated. Participants are encouraged to bring a mat to be comfortable and may participate in stretch and gratitude segments of the session.
BarreTwist fuses elements of traditional barre, X21, ballet/dance and yoga into a powerful cardio class twisted up a notch in a warm studio. BarreTwist is an energizing and muscle targeting workout. Classes include the use of exercise equipment such as mini-balls, hand weights and straps to sculpt, slim and stretch the entire body.
BarreTwist - Warm
Warm BarreTwist uses similar routines and flow aswith added benefit of warmth in the studio to assist in extending muscles and deepening the workout.
X21 Workout is a high intensity 21 minute bodyweight routine hosted in a warm studio. X21 is a timed interval class using various combinations of 28 body focused exercises to burn calories and body fat. Certified X21 trainers lead members through each movement while providing various levels of intensity enabling everyone to participate and benefit from the X21 workout.
Once you have completed a Yoga Basics class, this is the best next step to begin practicing some of the yoga flow before jumping into any of the yoga classes. This class continues the emphasis on alignment, building strength, pacing and breath. The instuctors take special care to make sure students are moving safely and feel comfortable and welcomed in each class.
Find balance between effort and relaxation in a class that combines the strength of held postures and the serenity of breath-directed movement. Classes are based around the the fluid movements of the sun salutation and other breath-directed movements.
Build strength, flexibility, balance and an unparalleled feeling of mental and physical well-being and relaxation with Hatha26. This class consists of a powerful 26 posture series that is designed to warm the whole body, allowing students to work deeper into all areas of the body. Each posture builds upon the previous posture and prepares you for the next. Proper weight, muscle tone, vibrant good health, and a sense of well being will automatically follow.
Power Vinyasa Flow
Power Vinyasa Yoga is a powerful, energetic form of yoga where students fluidly move from one pose to the next while connecting their breathing to their movements. This type of yoga is taught in the heat of the studio which makes it a vigorous and revitalizing form of physical fitness. It incorporates strength, flexibility, balance, cardio, physical and mental stamina in one session.
Power Yoga Fusion
Our Power Yoga Fusion is a dynamic flow with systematic holds that combines our Power Vinyasa Yoga class with our Workout class. Combining these two classes creates a fun, upbeat, cardio style class that brings the restorative and meditative aspects of yoga and the energising and challenging parts of our Hot Feet Workout class flow to life.
All Levels Yoga
A moderately paced class appropriate for ongoing experienced students through advanced students. A mixed style class incorporating vinyasa yoga as well as attention to alignment and technique. Modifications are given allowing the students to choose a beginning or more advanced practice according to their needs. A beautiful opportunity to be inspired by your fellow students of all levels.
A calming, stress-relieving yoga class to stretch and strengthen the body gradually. Emphasis is on building awareness of the breath and the body. Asanas are practiced at a slower pace with attention to alignment and detail. Recommended for all levels looking for a soothing, relaxing, and restorative experience, especially those newer to yoga or working with special concerns or injuries. Props are utilised for maximum comfort. Restore, refresh, renew. Everyone is welcome!
This non-heated class offers the opportunity to pause in relative stillness, meditate, and to contemplate and cultivate patience. During our yin practice, we tap into our potential while feeling and observing present sensations and thoughts. We flow to generate some energy and heat while freeing our bodies and minds.
This is the perfect place to begin if you are new to yoga or want to refresh/relearn the fundamental building blocks of a yoga practice. In this class there is an emphasis on alignment, building strength, pacing and breathing. The teachers take special care to make sure students are moving safely and feel comfortable and welcomed in each class. This class prepares practitioners for other Hot Feet Yoga class offerings.
Kids Yoga classes at Hot Feet provide a fun environment where children use games, songs and stories to explore yoga. Caregivers are asked to attend classes for all children. Class is non heated and typically runs 25-30 minutes per age group.
Fit-Age Senior Yoga
As we age, staying limber and flexible becomes more and more important. Flexibility helps us increase our range of motion so we can easily complete everyday tasks like bending down to tie your shoes or reaching to get a dish from a shelf. Daily stretching can help improve your flexibility and athleticism, decrease the amount of energy you need to complete a movement, and most importantly, help prevent injury.
Develop core strength and stabilization through pilates poses, while improving flexibility, muscular strength, posture and alignment through yoga poses, breathing and relaxation. YogaTwist is a low impact fusion class that combines pilates and yoga for a total body workout focused on toning the glutes, thighs and stomach.
Mommy and Me Yoga
This class provides moms the opportunity to regain strength and tone muscle while bonding, singing and playing with their babies. Regain strength while cultivating confidence and alleviate neck, shoulder, and back pain through yoga postures. This class is designed for expecting moms and up to 18-month babies but open to all members.
